Job Description:
- We are looking to employ a highly driven sales lead to drive the day-to-day running of our sales team and activities in Nigeria.
- The sales lead’s responsibilities include developing strategies to improve sales, managing a national sales team, organising sales meetings, reporting/tracking sales metrics, effectively handling customer complaints, and assisting with the recruitment of sales staff.
- You should also be able to delegate tasks to the sales staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be expected to directly achieve and manage up to 100M NGN sales/month with strategic key accounts managing group purchases for our network as well as signing up major pharmacy and hospital chains across Nigeria
- Continually meeting or exceeding sales quotas personally and through your sales team
- Supervising and guiding the sales team as well as monitoring the performance of the sales team
- Communicate the day-to-day sales goals and strategies to subordinate employees, promoting attentive and individualized customer service (as well as handling any customer complaints), and initiating and closing sales
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with sales staff/customers
- Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales. Regularly attending and organising sales meetings and training sessions
- Performing all duties expected of a national Sales leader
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted sales service across Nigeria
- Perfoming other responsibilities as may be assigned from the CEO or his assigned representative.
Job Requirements:
- Minimuim Degree is MBA/ Masters in Marketing
- 5 years+ proven experience in sales in Pharma/FMCG industry Area/ National Sales Management in the Pharma/FMCG industry with experience managing sales reps across Nigeria
- Credible sales career progression in reputable pharma, fmcg or digital commerce companies
- Experience leading sales reps across Nigeria to achieve monthly team sales of 1 Billion+ (billion) NGN
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office & Google Workspace applications
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to take feedback however critical/harsh and effect corrective steps
- Ability to hold sales team members to account
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
Remuneration & Other Benefits:
- Basic Salary: 250K NGN to 300K NGN / month (netpay)
- Bonus/Incentives is based on individual/team’s performance
