Main Responsibilities
- Registering clients’ biodata and create sales invoice for client using Peachtree and Register Enquiry using the pre-application form on the Encore system
- Create a sales income and expenses journal for every income and expense transaction
- Create receipt on confirmation of credit alert from the banks
- Create stock issue journal and maintain stock sheet for course wares received.
- Post bank charges and debit transactions journal at the End of month using bank statements for Bank Reconciliation purposes.
- Create, schedule and/or transfer clients in a batch as well as Exam Scheduling
- Generate certificate, Request for certificate via mail and follow up with international partners
- Petty Cash Management
- Ensure the centre’s assets such as equipment, furniture, fittings, generating plants, e.t.c are maintained and in good condition.
- Monitor generators and call for generator service when necessary.
- Monitoring of Diesel level to ensure supply is requested for when necessary.
- Send purchase invoice for all expenses incurred to CWD (Diesel expenses, PHCN, LAWMA etc)
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
Key Purpose:
- To support the development and implementation of finance and accounts initiatives.
- To ensure that the company’s assets are safely guided and facilitate effective operations
- To ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records
Job Requirements
Education:
- BSc in Accounting or any other relevant field.
- AAT/ICAN Certifications is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 1 - 3 years work experience.
- Proven experience as an Account officer
- Candidate must have knowledge in recording transactions, payments and expenses and processing invoices.
- Must have the ability to follow up on overdue payments and ensure that a company’s invoices and payments match up correctly.
- Bank Reconciliation process.
- At least one-year experience.

Salary
- N60,000 - N70,000 monthly.
