Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Content Writer works collaboratively with the Senior Digital Marketing Lead to create content for articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
- You will be responsible for regularly updating company’s website, evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, and promoting company blog by pitching articles across various platforms.
- To be successful on the job, you would be expected to keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques and be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, curate, produce, publish, and promote industry-leading content including SMS, Push notifications, emails, website pages, social media content, blogs, eBooks, videos, etc.
- Develop, implement, and track the performance of an editorial strategy.
- Review the existing material to determine what is relevant, consistent, redundant, or missing for each target audience.
- Research and analyze audience need, preferences, objectives, and methods. Study and understand how users consume content across their journey.
- Work with internal teams and other stakeholders to develop content with unique storytelling impact and insights.
- Stay up to date on trends in the retail industry
Requirements (Skills and Qualifications):
- 3+ years of professional content creation experience in a startup, Marketing Agency, B2B retail, or FCG industry
- Experience in developing content for both business and technical audiences
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects
