Key Responsibilities



  • Work with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products.

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.

  • Plan and implement a logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met.

  • Use computer software to track goods from origin to delivery.

  • Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analyzing performance.

  • Manage costs while maintaining quality.

  • Ensure awareness of all activities throughout the shop.

  • Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers/vendors.

  • Stay informed about new trends, products, and developments in the sector.

  • Supervise proper storage and maintenance of supplied products.

  • Ensure regular sanitation and fumigation of the company's store against pests.

  • Properly track products entering and leaving the storage.

  • Conduct regular checks of products in storage for damage and expiration.

  • Ensure products are supplied in proper condition and not expired.

  • Perform proper reconciliation of invoices.

  • Ensure correct pricing of all products on the shelf.

  • Raise purchase orders (LPOs) and liaise with vendors for regular product supply.

  • Ensure accurate uploading of product prices into the software system.

  • Meet the requirement of price tagging all products on the shelf.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in shop management, preferably in retail or a supermarket.


Required Skills:



  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement inventory and shop management strategies that drive business results.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory modeling, forecasting, and optimization.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships.

  • Knowledge of supply chain technology, including ERP systems, MRP, and WMS.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
