Job Brief

• The Head’s primary role is to lead and deliver professional, highly effective management and leadership that will deliver exceptional outcomes in all areas of School related to academics.


• The Academic Head communicates an inspirational vision and provides clear direction and ensures that curriculum, teaching, and assessment methods inspire high levels of engagement, success, and development for all students.

Responsibilities

• Differentiated instruction and Inclusive learning environment


• Knowledge of best practices to support the raising of academic attainment across the school


• Efficient and effective targeting of resources to ensure excellent teaching and learning


• Setting high expectation and positive outcomes


• Student retention, enrolment, and growth targets

Requirements

• First's Degree in Education (desirable) or equivalent years of experience


• Additional qualification (desirable)


• Recent successful leadership roles within a nursery/primary or secondary school setting


• Familiarity with use of School improvement plans and timelines
