Description

• We are looking for a qualified Music Teacher to teach music as part of the academic program and to foster a fun learning atmosphere that will stimulate young minds and foster a lifelong love of music.


• The Music Teacher should be able to teach every student how to play at least one musical instrument.

Responsibilities

• Creative thinking – including, for example, the ability to find new ways to explain techniques for different students


• The ability to build trusting professional relationships with students


• Maintain student behavioral standards to ensure productive and disciplined environment during group rehearsals, practices, and performances


• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback and assistance to improve their musical skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music (desirable) with at least 2 years experience.


• Adept at playing a minimum of 2-3 musical instruments
