The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be part of a team who delivers Monster portfolio energy drink innovation and new product development (NPD) into the growing CCBA and CCH region (Africa).
The candidate will be based in Lagos where our CCH bottling partner is located, to enable close collaboration.
The Associate will report to the Sr. Dir. T&R.
The African regulatory environment is complex and changing and the effective delivery of projects involves close collaboration with bottling partner regulatory / quality, local regulatory authorities, local law firms, Scientific& Regulatory Consultants, Industry partners, and vendors in multiple countries, as well as with the UK based NPD team, NPD Project Lead for Africa, and Corona (USA) based Global R&D and Regulatory Governance team, acting as a key support to the Senior Director Technical & Regulatory Affairs -Africa, to enable the delivery of projects.
The scope of work includes new innovation, new manufacturing site qualification, maintenance of existing NPD, and productivity.
The collaborative partnership will enable NPD and Innovation projects to be scoped and delivered by navigating highly complex regulatory requirements and enable our projects to progress within the company global brand and compliance strategy according to country regulatory guidelines, delivering commercialization support and registration of our new products.

The candidate will also be required to stay abreast of the changing regulatory landscape in this region, scanning the regulatory horizon, interpreting future requirements in a timely manner and informing the Senior Director T&R in order to maintain ongoing compliance of our existing and future products (liquid and packaging).
