Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing financial strategies.


• Overseeing financial reporting and tax compliance.


• Managing risk and ensuring financial stability.


• Developing and managing budgets.


• Raising capital and securing funding.


• Negotiating contracts and agreements.


• Investment analysis and management.


• Managing financial operations and ensuring cost efficiency.


• Providing financial analysis and support for decision making.


• Overseeing M & A and divestiture activities.


• Developing and maintaining relationships with banks, investors and other stakeholders.


• Risk management.


• Treasury and cash management.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree being a plus.


• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA,CPA,CFA or CMA are also beneficial.


• 4+ years relevant work experience.


• Strong Financial background, with experience in accounting, finance, and business operations.


• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management, stakeholders, and the board.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modeling and analysis.


• Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, with an understanding of its financial and operational challenges and opportunities.


• Strong technical skills, with proficiency in financial systems, software, and data analysis.


• A track record of delivering results, with a history of managing budgets, meeting financial targets, and leading successful financial initiatives.
