Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development efforts through identification of business opportunities, forging strong client relations, submittals, proposals, presentations, contract negotiations and other related activities.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Plan and implement long term business development strategies to achieve set targets and business objectives.
- Advise clients on subscription for businesses' products and services.
- Serve as key point of contact with customer and lead or guide all customer facing presentations.
- Maintain good working relationships with the business development team.
- Coordinate and ensure operational efficiency in assigned business location.
- Build and maintain valuable/healthy customer relationships.
- Conduct market research to gather business intelligence,identify business opportunities and convert business leads.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, competitors and vendors.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience and purpose. This includes reports, business proposals, bids/tenders, strategic plans, and other written business materials.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Degree in any business related field.
- Minimum of 5 years proven leadership experience driving business development initiatives to achieve significant business growth.
- Proven experience and skills in the preparation of proposals, bids and tenders is a key requirement.
- Experience in the energy sector is desired.
- Experience in project management is an advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for the concise / clear expression of technical and nontechnical concepts.
