Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion, compensation and benefits.
Liaising with a wide range of people and be involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety.
Developing with line managers, HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.
Planning, and sometimes delivering training, including inductions for new staff.
Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
Assist in planning and executing end-of-year activities.
Maintaining employee records.
Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.
Requirements:
B.Sc/HND in HR adminstration or related field
3 years proven experience working as an HR and administrative officer, or any other relevant managerial or administrative role
CIPM certification is a plus
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws.
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
