We are currently receiving applications for the role of Human Resources Intern. We are looking for someone who is eager to gain experience and willing to contribute to the growth of the team.
As an HR Intern, you will be required to work closely with the team, assisting in various HR functions including learning and development, recruitment, project planning, marketing and other administrative functions. We are looking for someone who is willing and eager to learn, proactive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, a good communicator, a team player and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of executive administrative duties as required by daily operations in the organisation
- Liaise and negotiate with vendors and contractors on matters relating to the supply of office products and services including computers, stationery, catering, venue etc
- Keep accounts of expenditure and expenses by processing returns/reimbursement on expenditure embarked upon
- Undertake any other ad-hoc projects as directed
- Providing weekly reports on work status
- Planning and executing quarterly performance
- Independently respond to letters, emails and general correspondence of a routine nature with respect to our services
- Handle all inquiries within the capacity
- When meetings are held: prepare agenda in advance, arrange meeting facilities and act as recording secretary; prepare action minutes
- Perform to earn full confidence of colleagues
- Assure discreet handling of all business
- Keep business documents confidential
- Frequent travel may be involved to meet with clients and facilitate/coordinate learning sessions or assignments out of Lagos.
- Assist in co-ordinating projects and programmes
- Client relations management; maintaining relationships and generating referrals
- Manage client databases, ensure up to date
- Record keeping of relationship management activities
- Increase the quality and quantity of client database
- Marketing all company services and training programmes via email, social media using direct/indirect channels
Requirements
- A good degree in any subject
- 1-3 years experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Comfortable working with MS Suite (especially PowerPoint and Word) and conversant with web 2.0 technology.
