Design and/or specification of test boxes, cables, equipment, software, and systems to facilitate testing of electrical and electronic equipment designed for unmanned air vehicles.
Perform as a team member or independently to troubleshoot, diagnose, propose, and implement electrical power and control equipment process control component repair solutions.
Take ownership of the site's electrical standards and ensure that they meet legal, corporate, and local electrical requirements including safety standards.
Working collaboratively with the maintenance manager, ensure that personnel are aware, trained, and perform work according to any relevant legislation, and according to standard procedures and risk assessments which are complete and adequate
Support the Maintenance Manager in leadership and management of the Electrical& Instrument Technicians to encourage and control an effective and disciplined workforce through energetic and driven leadership
Support the Maintenance Manager for control and setting of the site Electrical &Instrumentation maintenance budget, and provide appropriate management of expenditure whilst ensuring all key preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed to schedule.
Provide Leadership to drive continuous improvement and improve equipment reliability (including the areas of maintenance performance, plant reliability, safety, health, and environmental performance)
Take responsibility to ensure that electrical/instrumentation maintenance schemes are in place such that Capital assets fulfill their life expectancy with minimum expenditure.
Take responsibility for Communication and interaction with the Engineering and Technical Manager on all new projects to ensure they are compliant with the site and global standards and the requirements of plant maintenance schedules
Support ongoing Assessment and approval of Electrical contractor companies, including auditing performance and managing site activities
Job Requirements;
Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or a related field
5+ years in Supply Management or related field with specific experience in Electrical and Instrumentation Procurement
Understands major technical, organizational, managerial, and business issues related to procurement
Working knowledge of project delivery processes (I.E., program management, construction management, design-bid-build) and their relationship to supply management delivery
Is willing and able to learn to effectively author contractual commitment documents, internal and external communications
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and is capable of learning new software in a timely manner
