Responsibilities

• Working with SAP functional and technical consultants analyzing data migration requirements and the make-up of legacy data.


• Designing appropriate data migration solutions including, SAP Data Extraction, Transform and Load


• Create Technical Specification documents by utilizing Data migration experience. i.e. Source (legacy) to Target system field mapping and transformation/conversion rules for each field.


• Providing advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues and advising on appropriate data management strategies and techniques.

Requirements / Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree


• 6 -8 years in handling SAP ERP data migration projects.


• Knowledge with SAP ECC or S4/HANA modules such as: SD/MM, SAP FICO, SAP PP


• Strong experience in the design and implementation of SAP Data migration projects using ETL solutions such as: SAP Data Services, IBM Data Stage, Syniti-DSP and SAP LSMW, Migration cockpit (LTMC), other Data Migration ETL tool and additionally integration technologies such as IDOCs and BAPIs.


• Working experience in Excel (vlookup, Macro’s) and SQL tools (My Sql, Sql Server and oracle database tools) to support Preload and post load validation of data migration results


• Should have Business knowledge on SAP ERP functional areas such -FI, MM, SD, PM.PP


• Experience with cutover planning and preparation of data migration runbooks.


• Excellent understanding of Data Migration Lifecycle for data cleansing, transformation, reconciliation.


• Strong communication skills to facilitate meetings and workshops to collect data, functional and technology requirements, document processes, data flows, gap analysis
