Download all rate requests (origin or destination) and follow up with responses.
Daily registration of all received mail
Follow the established client service processes and procedures to improve operational excellence.
Respond to rate requests and liaise with International Coordinator when necessary
Dissemination of urgent information to appropriate channels between the International Department and other related departments
Manage the relationship between the organization and clients.
Reference all quotations sent out to the affiliates as requested.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with national and international clients through open and interactive communication.
Relay information between International Coordinator and other departments (Operations, Export, Business Development, etc)
Gather information from both the Export and Operations Departments, and update the clients and the origin agents on the status of the current shipment (inbound and outbound)
Request and utilize adequate information from customers to facilitate a hitch-free service-delivery process
Participate in training to upskill, as required by the business process.
Handle all possible complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure the resolution.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of first degree (BA/BSc/HND)
Masters is an additional advantage.
General banking experience at a leading commercial bank is also an advantage.
Proven experience in the required role
Smart, Resilient, and Articulate male (preferably)
Tech Savvy and open to learning a range of new things in the logistics industry.
