JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Web developer responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices


• Designing engaging and responsive landing pages


• Optimising sites for maximum speed and scalability


• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases


• Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet


• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs


• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site


• Search Engine Optimization


• Content Creation for Blogs and Newsletters.


• Employing industry and design best practices through the website build process


• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities


• Working with marketing and media teams to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into the website


• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent


• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

TOP SKILLS:

• Be efficient in Two or more relevant programming languages (Including PHP and Javascript)


• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS


• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development

Writing Skills

• Experience with design software (e.g., Photoshop)


• Ability to pay attention to details.


• Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design


• Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)


• Good visual design sense
