They are currently in need of a Financial Controller for the automobile arm of the business that produces passenger cars, trucks, vans, coaches, buses, sports cars, construction equipment and military vehicles etc. 

Responsibilities

• Close existing points/ensure no new attention points for all internal & statutory audits.


• Financial evaluation and post-implementation review of all financial projects.


• Responsible for efficient processes with SSC. This means monitoring and evaluating business/finance processes; suggesting and implementing changes to bring in control, efficiency and effectiveness.


• Responsible for procurement negotiations and cost savings.


• Daily performance review of finance manager(s) to ensure adherence of procedures, and mitigating of risks.


• Ensure maintenance and reporting P & L for each business unit on a monthly basis.


• Ensure compliance to all applicable statutory and legal requirements for the assigned geography.


• Ensure implementation of new/revised accounting guidelines from HO.


• Responsible to reduce overdue receivables. Work with Sales function to structure deals for big customers.


• All governance matters with internal and external stakeholders.


• Work with SSC to ensure complete, accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of all transactions in the books of Accounts.


• Follow-up, monitor and review to ensure proper MIS reports are issued every month.


• Ensure accurate and complete customer and vendor reconciliation, and issuance of reports and follow up on reconciliation items.


• Ensure timely and adequate insurance coverage for Company’s assets and risks.


• Provide due financial and related reports for management for appropriate actions.

 Desired Profile
