- We currently seek an energetic and passionate individual with a history of successful performance to function as a digital and communication (Creative Director) in our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- An understanding of the media landscape and the value of different distribution platforms and the impact that has on creative output.
- Plan and co-produce associated digital content (audio, video, social media)
- Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion.
- Develop valuable connections between external strategy requests, the company’s in-house strategy and creative work to meet and surpass demands and expectations.
- Lead Creative Direction, Content Generation and Video Production for the media department.
- Play a key role in preparing and delivering creative presentations and creative updates to the management.
- Working with creative and production resources to ensure that deadlines and management budgets are adhered to and management expectations are exceeded.
- Leading and building a team to develop engaging creative work – anything from determining a strategy to designing visual identity, packaging, content, and interactive and branded experiences.
- Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for a diverse group of individuals.
- Work with external vendors to ensure all production work is in line with brand guidelines and on time.
- Lead brainstorming/creative sessions for idea collation.
- Write and design unique and well-crafted contents that meet clients’ needs and the company’s standards.
- Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.
- Confident and willing to independently leading and manage on-set experiences, fostering a positive environment and acting as a bridge between the shoot direction and management needs.
Qualifications / Experience
- Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree
- Proven 3 - 4 years experience as a Digital communication (Creative Director) or in a similar creative role.
- Hands-on experience in creative process and brand development.
- Oversee and provide effective direction at photo shoots.
- Effectively check project tools, briefs and approve work.
- Command respect of freelance designers, media agents, vendors and be able to effectively manage their assistance.
- Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
- Must be able to collaborate well with team members
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Basic copy writing skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro etc.
- Outstanding leadership and organization skills.
- Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
