Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned territory by selling Radiology consumables:
- Identify potential customers and proactively reach out to them to generate new leads.
- Making sales calls to target accounts
- Conduct product demonstrations and negotiate terms of sales.
- Meet and exceed individual sales target and continue to contribute to overall sales goals of UMH.
- Selling and servicing the target accounts, preplanning, and adapting the sales presentation to the individuals involved
- Exceeding the standard level of performance in market segment call activity, target account penetration, evaluations started, and evaluations concluded.
- Demonstrating effective full line selling
- Effectively communicate product knowledge to customers, highlighting value proposition
- Maintain accurate up to date records of sales activities, customer interactions and prospects.
- Support the execution of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives.
Maintain a continuing program to improve and upgrade skills to include, but not limited to:
- Product knowledge
- Competitive knowledge
- Selling skills
- Reporting skills
- Forecast
- Analysis for management review.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Promotes and sells Uni-Medical Healthcare Limited Medical Radiology Consumable products within an assigned geographic area to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, and Radiology and Surgical personnel.
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Radiology Business.
- Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors’ activities.
- Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
- Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Micro-Biology,Bio-Chemistry,Medical Lab Sciences
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience and working knowledge of Medical Consumables.
Nice to Have
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience or proven success in a B2B, medical sales and/or capital equipment sales experience preferred. Ability to build hospital staff/ surgeon relationships is preferred.
