JOB OBJECTIVES
- The Creative Director is to create, plan and deliver a strategic vision for internal and external clients. He/She will interpret business requirements and client briefs and translate them into elegant, creative solutions.
- The creative director must be exceptional at pitching creative concepts to clients and company stakeholders, as well as communicating ideas and creating concepts for other team members.
- The goal is to achieve the best possible outcome of our projects both visually and essentially to meet customer expectations and drive our sustainable growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Distill abstract business concepts and client needs into refined, elegant creative solutions.
- Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output for all client projects and pitch ideas confidently.
- Ensure that all of the organization’s or client’s creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.
- Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
- Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution
- Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team
- Work with the design team to produce new ideas for company/client branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
- Evaluating trends, assessing new data, and keeping up-to-date with the latest creative techniques.
- Assisting clients in resolving issues by responding to questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Shaping brand standards and creating procedures to ensure all design outcomes are brand appropriate.
- Have strong supervisory, people management, and leadership skills in order to lead and inspire, hire, develop, and oversee their creative team
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCY REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, and other relevant fields.
- Proven 4+ years experience as a creative direction or in a similar creative role
- Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a creative vision that matches client briefs.
- Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
- Extensive supervisory experience (including leadership, team-building, and delegation) leading and managing a creative team.
- A solid grasp of design history, photography and the visual arts.
