Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lubricant Chemist with expertise in formulation to join our team.


• As a Lubricant Chemist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing lubricant formulations to meet specific performance requirements.


• Your work will involve conducting research, performing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative lubricant solutions.


• This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• B.Sc / B.Tech or HND in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry, B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering with 2nd Class Upper or Upper Credit Division


• A minimum of 5 years of work experience must be vast in standard lubricant formulation and analysis.


• Cognate and on-the-job experience in the lubricants manufacturing industry.


• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.


• Strong knowledge of lubricant chemistry, additives, and formulation principles.


• Proven experience in formulating lubricants for various applications (e.g., automotive, industrial, marine).


• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and testing methods for lubricants.


• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, equipment operation, and data analysis.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot formulation issues.


• Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
