Job Description: 

• We are currently looking to hire an Experienced Executive Chef for our partner, a hospitality company based in Lekki Seaside, Lagos and who runs a Fine Dining Restaurant, Bar and Lounge.


• Our preferred candidate will be responsible for the full operations management of the entire kitchen management including; hiring, training, and overseeing kitchen staff, and ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.


• Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.


• Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.


• Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as Chefs, Cooks, and Kitchen Assistants


• Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.


• Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.


• Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints.

Requirements:

• OND/HND/BSc. Qualifications in hospitality management or other relevant fields.


• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an Executive Chef preferably in a Fine Dining Restaurant


• 2+ years of culinary education


• Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.


• Ability to develop and maintain recipe scheduled to meet organizational requirements and standards


• Creative and accountability abilities


• Proficiency in the use of computer and relevant hospitality software


• Proficient knowledge of human resources management.


• Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to meet deadlines
