We are looking for a dynamic Superintendent pharmacist who will be responsible for overseeing all pharmaceutical activities and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
This position involves ensuring that pharmaceutical regulations are met, maintaining quality standards, and providing expert pharmaceutical advice.
The Superintendent Pharmacist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and safety of an organization as well as other pharmaceutical operations.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures ( SOPs) to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services and reporting to regulatory bodies governing the company.
Interface with government regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to standard procedures, accuracy in dispensing, and proper record-keeping.
Report all regulatory related activities to top management.
Work alongside the QA/QC team to assess product problems and brainstorm solutions.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and adherence to ethical standards.
Provide oversight functions as regard all health/infirmary related activities.
Develop SOP on all health/infirmary activities in the organization
Oversea organizational planning of bimonthly health awareness presentations.
Stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements, emerging trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven work experience as Superintendent pharmacist or in a senior pharmacist role is preferred.
Registered Pharmacist with a valid license from the relevant regulatory authority.
Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
At least 4 years post NYSC experience in Pharmaceutical sales.
Excellent knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional guidelines.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of cooperate organizational effectiveness.
