Job Description



  • We are looking for a dynamic Superintendent pharmacist who will be responsible for overseeing all pharmaceutical activities and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • This position involves ensuring that pharmaceutical regulations are met, maintaining quality standards, and providing expert pharmaceutical advice.

  • The Superintendent Pharmacist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and safety of an organization as well as other pharmaceutical operations.


Responsibilities



  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines set by regulatory bodies.

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures ( SOPs) to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services and reporting to regulatory bodies governing the company.

  • Interface with government regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.

  • Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to standard procedures, accuracy in dispensing, and proper record-keeping.

  • Report all regulatory related activities to top management.

  • Work alongside the QA/QC team to assess product problems and brainstorm solutions.

  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and adherence to ethical standards.

  • Provide oversight functions as regard all health/infirmary related activities.

  • Develop SOP on all health/infirmary activities in the organization

  • Oversea organizational planning of bimonthly health awareness presentations.

  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements, emerging trends, and best practices.


Qualifications



  • Proven work experience as Superintendent pharmacist or in a senior pharmacist role is preferred.

  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid license from the relevant regulatory authority.

  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

  • At least 4 years post NYSC experience in Pharmaceutical sales.

  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional guidelines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge of cooperate organizational effectiveness.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and digital systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Leadership ability.

  • Excellent verbal and written English.

  • Self-motivated and independent.

  • Strong governance, administrative, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
