  • Procurement Officers are responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

  • We are looking for an astute procurement officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.

  • The Procurement Officer's responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

  • To be successful as a Procurement Officer you should have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends. Ultimately, a top procurement officer should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.

  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.

  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

  • Timely procurement and delivery of high-quality electromechanical and building products used in the maintenance of a high-rise building facility.

  • Preparing Job Orders

  • Ensure delivery of procured items

  • Dealings with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors as regards quality electromechanical and building products used in the maintenance of a high-rise building facility

  • Any other related job

  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms

  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services

  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries

  • Examine and test existing contracts

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients

  • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies

  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements

  • Control spending andbuild a culture oflong-term savings on procurement costs


Requirements / Skills / Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a similar field preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

  • Supervisory and management experience.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • 5 Years of Proven working experienceas a procurement Officer or procurement Specialist

  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in “reading” the market

  • Talent in negotiations and networking

  • Good knowledgeof supplier or third-party management software

  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data

  • Strong leadership capabilities
