We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who is responsible for identifying, creating, and nurturing business opportunities to drive growth and revenue for our organisation.
This role involves conducting market research, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing sales and marketing strategies to expand the company’s customer base and increase profitability.
We are looking for an individual who possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to think strategically.
He/She should be result-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and markets for business expansion. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Develop and implement business development strategies and action plans to achieve organisational goals.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Negotiating and closing business deals, contracts, and partnerships to drive business growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present proposals, bids, and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the organisation’s value proposition and solutions.
Manage the sales and marketing wing of the organisation by developing effective strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to generate leads, acquire new customers, and increase revenue.
Manage the business development pipeline by tracking and following up on leads, prospects, and opportunities. Monitoring the progress of deals and taking appropriate actions to move them through the sales cycle.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand professional networks, build brand awareness, and generate new business leads. Representing the organisation professionally and effectively communicating its value proposition.
Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and ROI assessments to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of new business opportunities. Preparing and presenting reports and proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
Staying updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to the organisation’s business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (Possessing a Master’s degree is an added advantage)
