We are seeking a highly competent and dependable individual to join our team as an Administrative Officer. We need an individual who will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our organisation’s administrative functions.
He/She will provide essential support to various departments and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the company.
This role requires someone with excellent administrative skills, the ability to handle confidential information, and a strong work ethic. As a small business, you will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative tasks and assisting the management team.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to within the organisation, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, organising meetings, and maintaining records and files.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing office supplies, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment.
Handle incoming and outgoing communication, both internal and external, such as emails, phone calls, and official letters.
Draft and proofread documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and filing systems. Retrieve and organise information as required while ensuring data confidentiality and security.
Address administrative issues, challenges, and inquiries with utmost professionalism, and provide timely and effective solutions.
Exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills in handling day-to-day operational matters.
Maintain a high level of integrity and ethical conduct in all administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
Minimum of HND in Business Administration, or any related field.
At least 2 years relevant work experience.
Must be computer literate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
