As the Operations Manager you'll oversee the operations of the various centres and ensure that the local teams are doing their jobs correctly and efficiently


Responsibilities:



  • Manage and oversee (in coordination with local managers) all operational functions including maintenance, IT, HR (including recruitment, training, staffing), admin, procurement (including central purchasing), logistics, and coordination of and with the clinical teams

  • Optimize and ensure implementation of SOP’s across all centres, and ensure best in class reporting from centres against set standards and KPI’s

  • Monitor operational and financial performance of all centres and ensure consistency of quality, standards, and service delivery across centres

  • Monitor patient experience and ensure optimal patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes

  • Oversee the set up and execution of any new centres, including pre-operational set-up, training, and launch of operations

  • Drive and coordinate marketing campaigns across the country by working with the marketing team 

  • Adhere to the operating budget, financial goals, and objectives with economic and efficient performance

  • Design and implement data collection processes that will inform continuous improvement of operational model

  • Utilize data insights to implement operational strategy that optimizes organizational technology, capacity, and personnel

  • Implement a plan to efficiently scale services within clearly defined project timelines and budgets

  • Create policies, trainings, and resources that clearly define and optimize key business processes to allow efficient replication across multiple locations

  • Design, communicate, and implement an effective quality control framework

  • Periodically manage internal audits with regards to service standards and compliance, ensuring that agreed KPIs and SLAs are delivered 

  • Resolve operational issues and analyze workflow 

  • Use value-based purchasing and partnerships to decrease healthcare costs through efficiencies across the integrated care network

  • Maintain health and safety of all clinics by ensuring health and safety policies and best practices are embedded and adhered to


 Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related disciplines

  • 7yrs+ of progressive and hands-on managerial experience in a medical practice, including management responsibility of all operational areas, including HR and finance.

  • Experience working in dialysis/ nephrology centre is an added advantage.
