  • Business development involves identifying and creating opportunities for growth within an organization. The primary objective of a business development professional is to expand the company's reach, increase revenue and foster long-term partnerships.


Below are some of your Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:



  • Contributing to the development of the company's overall growth strategy by identifying new market segments, assessing competitive landscapes, and recommending strategic initiatives to drive business expansion.


Proposal Development and Pitching:



  • Creating compelling proposals and presentations to showcase the company's products, services, or solutions.

  • You will participate in client meetings, pitches, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities.


Identifying and Researching Potential Business Opportunities:



  • This involves conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and identifying potential customers, partners, or markets that align with Marquis’ strategic objectives.


Lead Generation and Prospecting:



  • You are responsible for generating leads and establishing contact with potential clients or partners.

  • This may involve cold calling, networking, attending industry events, or leveraging online platforms.


Building and Maintaining Relationships:



  • Developing and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders is crucial.

  • This may include meeting with key decision-makers, negotiating contracts, and managing ongoing partnerships to ensure mutual growth and success.


Achieving Sales Targets and Objectives:



  • You are responsible for meeting specific sales targets and revenue goals.

  • You must monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress, and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
