Job Description

Subject to modification:

• Preparing and operating sound equipment during events.


• Setting up and breaking down audio equipment.


• Running audio equipment and checking that everything is properly connected.


• Testing audio equipment for volume, tone, and clarity.


• Evaluating audio equipment for repair and maintenance.


• Operating mixing consoles and adjusting sounds and volumes when necessary.


• Ensuring guests are happy with the sound quality and the setup of the audio equipment.


• Recommending equipment and software upgrades when necessary.


• Collaborating with other Audio Technicians when required.


• Set up lighting equipment


• Assemble all the lighting and filter equipment needed


• Organize any necessary scaffolding and cranes.


• Ensure all lighting equipment is in working order and carry out tests


• Perform all other functions as required by Management.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO or OND qualification with 2 - 7 years work experience.
