Responsibilites

As a welder/fabricator you will be responsible for:

• Cutting, shaping, and joining metal parts using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques and equipment


• Reading and following blueprints, sketches, and specifications


• Inspecting and testing welds for quality and safety standards


• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment and tools


• Following safety procedures and wearing protective gear


• Communicating and collaborating with other team members and clients

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent


• A welding certificate or relevant training


• At least 2-3 years of welding/fabrication experience


• Knowledge of different metals and their properties


• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions


• Attention to detail and accuracy


• Physical strength and stamina


• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
