PURPOSE OF POSITION
To keep a complete and accurate record of all Sweet Nation Foods Ltd.’s financial transactions in a systematic, orderly and logical manner.
FUNCTION
Recording and maintaining Sweet Nation Foods Ltd.’s financial transactions including purchases, expenses, sales, invoices and payments. Generating Reports pertaining to Sweet Nation Foods Ltd.’s expenses
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Recording day to day financial transactions
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Maintaining and updating fixed asset register
- Entering financial data, maintaining records, creating reports and financial statements
- Reconciling sales tax and bank statements
- Working closely with the Auditor…
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Educating staff on the need to obtain and present vouchers, invoices and receipts
- Maintaining vouchers and receipts for tax and audit purposes
- Generating and printing expense reports (monthly, quarterly and annually)

- Entry of Cash and Cheque Payments into Cash and Cheque Record Book
- Categorization of local expenses
- Entry of local expenses into local expense record folder
- Entry of local expenses into expense tracking software (GnUCash)
- Extraction of Online Payments from Bank Statement into Online Payment Recording Sheet
- Entry of Online Payments into Online Payment Recording Spreadsheets
- Entry of Cheque Details into Cheque Record Book
- Depositing of Cheques to Company Bank Account
Weekly
Data entry into Local Raw Materials Weighted Mean Calculator.
Monthly
- Generation of monthly expense report
- Generation of monthly income statement
- Generation of monthly delivery expense summary
Quarterly
- Compilation, categorization and recording of invoices for annual filing
- Preparation of documentation for annual filing
