Job Description

• If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Junior Accountant at Maxitech Global Investment Limited.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.


• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.


• Reconcile bank statements and perform periodic financial analyses.


• Process and manage invoices, expenses, and financial transactions.


• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


• Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.


• Support the Senior Accountant in various accounting activities as required.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Proven work experience as an intern, trainee, or Junior Accountant is a plus.


• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Knowledge of Nigerian accounting and tax regulations is an advantage.
