The Treasury Accountant monitors cash flow and controls money transmission tools. Their role includes managing the organizations bank accounts, maintaining financial records, performing banking operations, providing financial advice to the company, and handling the cash management system
Responsibilities
Liquidity management for the organization
Conducting scenario and risk analysis
Forecasting of medium and long-term funding and hedging requirements where applicable
Daily cash management and debt facilities reporting
Development of risk mitigation strategies, including foreign exchange risk strategies
Ensuring that inter-company loans, derivatives and associated interest transactions are recorded in SAP in line with supporting agreements and trading documentation
Monitoring daily activity through the ERP system and various banking portals and investigating differences to expectations
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Banking Industry
Project management work to utilize new Treasury tools and systems
