Job Summary:



  • The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth across our industry sectors.

  • Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role will focus on building and leading a high-performing sales organization, aligning sales efforts with marketing initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our sales objectives.


Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy and Planning:



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives and market opportunities.

  • Set and meet ambitious sales targets and develop sales plans to achieve sustainable revenue growth.


Sales Team Leadership:



  • Build and lead a dynamic sales team, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to maximize their performance.

  • Set clear goals and objectives for the sales team, monitoring their progress and providing ongoing feedback and support.


Business Development:



  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to expand the company's customer base.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.


Sales Performance Management:



  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement effective sales incentive programs to motivate and reward high-performing sales representatives.


Sales Process Optimization:



  • Streamline and optimize the sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in converting leads to customers.

  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with marketing and customer service initiatives.


Sales Forecasting and Reporting:



  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Present sales performance updates to the executive team on a regular basis.


Market and Competitor Analysis:



  • Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and threats in both sectors.

  • Use market insights to make data-driven decisions and refine sales strategies.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred).

  • Proven track record of at least 10years in sales leadership roles, demonstrating consistent revenue growth and team success in related sectors.

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of our active markets and competitive landscape.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
