  • As a Technical Service Coordinator, you will be providing onsite technical and engineering support and interface for the technical manager and project teams. During operations and maintenance periods the Technical Support shall provide the required support to continue an uninterrupted operation. Safety and HSE must always be at the forefront of all activities.


As a Technical Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for:



  • Supporting maintenance and operational activities for tooling & equipment, including receipt and storage at site including preservation.

  • Following operations and ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with procedure, drawings & specifications.

  • Assisting with Forecast all servicing and maintenance activities of the fleet of equipment as part of the projects.

  • Managing in-country team of Service and Mechanical Support Engineers who provide technical support on Baker Hughes technologies to the customer.

  • Partnering with commercial and sales teams to deliver customer solutions.

  • Assisting country operations involving BH support functions, EHS, Quality, Logistics, Service, Engineering and Maintenance teams.

  • Participating in the preparation of FAT/SIT and all testing procedures as requested.

  • Evaluating and planning for engineering support to site during maintenance, refurbishment and/or testing.

To be successful in this role you will:



  • Have a bachelor’s degree in any related Engineering course.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Technical Service Coordinator within oil and gas industry.

  • Have a technical depth of knowledge in both Hardware and Controls to resolve issues as they arise while providing support to operational issues and queries.

  • Have good communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills.

  • Experience in a client facing role.

  • Have prior experience leading teams and mentoring others.
