Job Description

• The role will oversee general operations, driving profitability and growth of business, human assets and ensuring optimal growth and success of the company.


• The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to develop and grow the company in the right direction while also implementing its vision, goals and values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement comprehensive business strategy by developing and implementing cost-effective operations and market penetration initiatives.


• Lead the identification of target market segments, develop and drive strategies for growth.


• Drive business profit and revenue, maintain minimum liquidation value and acceptable PAR


• Actively lead fundraising initiatives for the company and provide strategic input and direction for the development of company-wide performance targets.


• Build the organizational structures and business teams to maximize productivity and performance.


• Continuously design, optimize and drive the implementation of the company's growth and developmental roadmap end-to-end across board.


• Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures


• Develop short-long term growth plan for the company, working with other board members to oversee its implementation


• Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures ensuring sound financial recording /reporting.


• Foster and maintain a corporate culture within the company that embodies high integrity, Mutual respect, customer centricity and all other core values.


• Ensure that Canary Point Finance meets the targets set forth in the business plan and annual budget.

Requirements: Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 18 years of extensive experience in a well-structured company with a lenders or Finance House License, 10 years of which must have been in an Executive Mngt capacity.


• Prior experience serving in or reporting to a board/board committee is essential.


• Knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian financial/stock market.


• Prior experience leading functions such as, Commercial/Marketing, Finance/Risk Management, stock market operations etc.


• Good product development and portfolio management capabilities


• Must have strong business acumen, maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with highest levels of management of financial institutions.
