Design and develop the engineering of various mechanical and process structures, skids, and modules.
Preparation of bills of materials (BoMs) for all designs.
Responsible for the cost, schedule, and quality of deliverables.
Take part in design conception and review.
Provide support for the Production or Project Team during manufacturing, fabrication, or construction.
Study, research, and analyze design and product requirements
Generate high-quality designs and drawings using 2-D and 3-D software.
Carry out various mechanical, structural, and process analyses and calculations.
Support the Marketing & Sales Team in the preparation of technical proposals and tenders in response to client inquiries.
Create and refine mechanical part and assembly drawings to capture design intent and document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals.
Focus and specialize in at least two core areas of the company’s products and services.
Job Requirements;
A first degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design from a reputable institution.
A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of three (3) Years Experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of 3D Modeling & 2D CAD applications: Inventor, SolidWorks and Fusion360.
Knowledge of mechanical engineering standards.
Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication will be an advantage.
Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and customer satisfaction.
Industry Knowledge and a very good understanding of Engineering principles
Very good knowledge of the use of Auto-Desk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
Must be well-grounded in mechanical and industrial design principles.
Very good knowledge of the M.S Office suite (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
