Job Description



  • As the Content Manager, your role will be to create engaging content to support Duplo in building out our voice and sharing great content to grow our awareness as well as generate, nurture, and convert leads.

  • In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Brand/Visual Designer to run and manage campaigns and produce engaging long and short-form content, including but not limited to blog posts, e-books, drip email campaigns, and social media. Your duties include researching keywords, producing interesting SEO-driven content, and proofreading work for accuracy and quality.

  • You will also be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on the performance of your content.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop content strategy aligned with short and long-term marketing objectives to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and conversion.

  • Oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, and an overall positive customer experience.

  • Build and execute a social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.

  • Oversee all of Duplo’s social media channels- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn-  as well as the community platform including analytics and reporting

  • Write clear, error-free, and compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. social ads, blog posts, e-books, email campaigns). Edit and proofread copy as needed.

  • Interpret creative direction and technical information and turn them into persuasive copy concepts using SEO principles to maximize Duplo’s reach.

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention.


Requirements



  • At least 3-5 years experience in marketing and content experience, ideally at a high-growth startup

  • Ability to translate business needs into impactful communication

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to hold grammatical and brand standards

  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done.

  • Exceptional communicator (written and oral) with strong interpersonal skills

  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and figure it out

  • Great organizational skills, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks

  • Be emotionally intelligent, humble, and excited to work within a team with a diverse set of experiences, backgrounds, and skills
