Job Description
Job Objective:
The Savings Mobilization Officer is responsible for promoting savings products and services to customers, attracting new savers, and encouraging existing customers to increase their savings. This position plays a vital role in achieving
the organization's savings mobilization targets and enhancing financial inclusion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote savings products and services to potential customers, providing information and assistance to help them understand the benefits and features of various savings products.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing savers, providing personalized guidance, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Sourcing for new and maintaining existing deposit clients.
- Assist customers in opening savings accounts, explaining account terms and conditions, and facilitating the account setup process.
- Monitor and track savings trends and behaviors among customers, identifying opportunities to encourage increased savings and identifying potential challenges.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns and events to attract new savers and increase savings among existing customers.
- Provide regular reports and updates on savings mobilization activities, progress, and challenges to the Head of Savings Mobilization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, savings products, and financial education programs to enhance knowledge and effectively communicate with customers.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and operations, to ensure smooth account management and resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures related to savings mobilization and customer data confidentiality.
