JOB DESCRIPTION


The position performs senior-level paraprofessional clerical and administrative support to Seminary and Institute Area Director, Coordinators, Instructors, and local priesthood leaders; Tasks require seasoned independent analysis and judgment coupled with extensive clerical or secretarial experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Use computer software to perform data entry, student registration and generate reports. 

  • Maintain accurate student enrollment, attendance, and completion records.

  • Schedules and maintains a calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements.

  • Manage office operations including equipment function and maintenance, supplies, administration, and filling.

  • Screens telephone calls and visitors and resolves routine and some complex inquiries.

  • Works with highly sensitive and confidential information

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS


Education & Experience:



  • HND Secretaryship & Management Studies; bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

  • 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of both education and experience.


Skills & Abilities:



  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with priesthood leaders, parents, and students, and other customers.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Highly efficient with computerized business applications, good research, analytical, and data summation skills

  • Ability to work with sensitive and highly confidential information.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software.
