Job Description



  • Monitor established metrics to ensure learning and development (L&D) efforts and results are efficiently and effectively meeting the business needs of the organization.

  • Communicate learning and development goals and objectives in support of the business strategy.

  • Research and introduce new learning and development techniques and tools to deliver quality training programs through various platforms.

  • Identify training and development requirements by conducting needs analysis on organization results, job requirements, operational problems, company plans and forecasts, and current training programs.

  • Manage the L&D projects and initiatives and support Head, L&D in developing a robust management development program.

  • Manage training resources, including in-house trainers and training materials.

  • Collaborate with line managers on the design and delivery of appropriate and relevant personal development plans for their staff; evaluate agreed-upon internally-delivered interventions; and ensure the best use of the group’s development budgets.

  • Develop coaching and mentoring schemes to support staff development and the achievement of personal development plans.

  • Lead the development of a staff skills and knowledge database in order to maximise the diverse talents resident within the group.

  • Contribute research, analysis, and ideas to the development of the group’s HR strategy in order to ensure that organisational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.


Requirements



  • First Degree in Business, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Training and Development or related field

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in learning and development.


Skill / Competencies



  • Attention to details

  • Strong Interpersonal skills.

  • Good Communication skills - verbal and written

  • Good Knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws

  • Problem analysis and solving skills.
