• We are looking for a Policy Analyst to join our team in Abuja and assist the team with providing our clients with high-quality policy analysis and advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Analysis: Keeping abreast of policy developments, legislative changes, and political trends in the region. Providing regular updates and analysis to the team or management.


• Policy Advocacy: Assisting in the development of advocacy strategies to promote the organization's policy positions. This may involve engaging with government officials, stakeholders, and the public to raise awareness and gain support for specific policies.


• Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data to support policy recommendations. This could involve quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of existing policies or to make evidence-based proposals.


• Report Writing: Preparing policy briefs, reports, and whitepapers to communicate research findings, policy recommendations, and advocacy initiatives effectively.


• Project Management: Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects related to policy development and advocacy in Africa.


• Policy Compliance: Ensuring the organization's activities align with local, regional, and national policies and regulations.


• Policy Communication: Supporting the communication efforts to disseminate policy-related information to internal and external audiences through various channels.


• Policy Strategy: Contributing to the formulation of long-term policy strategies aligned with the organization's mission and vision in Africa.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree.
