Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Technical Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop LPG sales for the North East Region (Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Plateau, Taraba and Yobe) by identifying high consumption/target areas, customers and their requirements, defining market, competitors share and competitors strength and weaknesses, forecasting projected business, establishing targeted market share and revenue goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee sales and marketing activities to achieve corporate revenue goals
- Plan and assign daily workload to the sales team
- Evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide appropriate feedback
- Provide guidance to sales representatives in their assigned duties
- Respond to escalated customer complaints in a timely manner
- Develop new sales techniques for business growth and profitability
- Identify potential customers and build strong relationships with existing customers
- Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction to build business
- Represent company brand in sales conferences and trade shows
- Identify selling strategies and opportunities to increase revenue
- Evaluate current sales processes and recommend improvements
- Build strategy as part of the leadership team
- Lead execution of the strategy in sales, marketing and product innovation
- Provide visible leadership for our brand values, culture and sustainability
- Build a strong resilient sales and marketing function
- Plan and deliver robust financial performance through the cycle
- Manage sales channel and brand reputation risk
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s or HND degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent.
- Must have 7 years of experience in sales
- Must have basic computer knowledge and skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong communication and presentation skills
- Must have leadership/Managerial Skills
