Role Overview:



  • As a Ticketing and Visa Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our travel agency's operations by assisting clients with their flight bookings and visa application processes.

  • You'll be the go-to person for our valued customers, ensuring their travel plans are seamless and stress-free.


Basic Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant associate's or bachelor's degree preferred).

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with ticketing and reservation systems, GDS (Global Distribution Systems) such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or others will be an advantage.


Educational Requirements:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement for this role.

  • Candidates with a relevant associate's or bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, hospitality, or a related field will be preferred.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assisting clients in booking flights, issuing tickets, and securing the best possible fares.

  • Ensuring compliance with travel regulations and entry requirements for different countries.

  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to bookings and visas.

  • Collaborating with airlines, embassies, and other travel-related entities to facilitate smooth travel experiences.

  • Maintaining accurate records of bookings, payments, and visa applications.

  • Staying updated on industry trends, travel advisories, and visa policy changes.


Skills and Competencies:



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch customer service.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to handle bookings and visa applications accurately.

  • Proficiency in GDS (Global Distribution Systems) for efficient ticketing processes.

  • Knowledge of visa requirements and processes for various destinations.

  • Basic financial and mathematical skills for payment processing and fare calculations.


Language Skills:



  • Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is a plus, especially for dealing with international travelers.
