Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Design and Development:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and department heads to identify training needs and objectives.
- Create and design comprehensive training programs that align with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize various instructional techniques and methods to deliver effective and engaging training sessions.
Training Delivery:
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees, both in-person and through digital platforms.
- Utilize multimedia tools and technology to deliver training content effectively.
- Tailor training sessions to accommodate different learning styles and individual needs.
- • Performance Evaluation and Needs Assessment:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Conduct periodic needs assessments to identify skill gaps and emerging training requirements.
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System.
- Ensure that training materials and resources are up-to-date and easily accessible to employees.
Talent Development Initiatives:
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify high-potential employees for talent development programs.
- Assist in the design and implementation of career development plans and succession planning.
Compliance and Safety Training:
- Develop and deliver training modules related to compliance, safety, and regulatory standards specific to the downstream oil and gas industry.
- Employee Development Support:
- Provide coaching and support to employees seeking professional development opportunities.
- Advise employees on available resources for continuing education and certifications.
Training Evaluation and Reporting:
- Analyze training data and generate reports to assess the impact and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
- Make data-driven recommendations for improvements to the training programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a learning and development specialist
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, preferably in the downstream oil and gas industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning theories.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and e-learning platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build productive relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards within the oil and gas industry is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in training and development are desirable.
