Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager with years of specialized expertise in poultry (layer and broiler), piggery, and catfish farming. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a large integrated livestock farm, demonstrating exceptional management skills and deep knowledge of modern farming techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day farm operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of all farming activities.


• Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategies and goals.


• Supervise and lead a team of farm staff, providing guidance and training as required.


• Plan and execute breeding, feeding, and health programs for poultry, pigs, and catfish to optimize production.


• Monitor and maintain livestock health, promptly addressing any disease outbreaks or health issues.


• Manage inventory and procurement of farm supplies, equipment, and feed.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and environmental standards.


• Develop and implement cost-effective practices to maximize profitability.


• Conduct regular inspections to ensure farm facilities and equipment are well-maintained.


• Prepare and maintain accurate records of farm activities, production, and financial data.

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).


• 6+ years of experience in managing poultry (layer and broiler), piggery, and catfish farming operations.


• Experience in working on a large integrated livestock farm is highly desirable.


• Strong knowledge of modern farming techniques, animal husbandry, and disease management.


• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.


• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
