- As the Sourcing Manager, you will negotiate with dedicated providers to achieve the best contractual conditions and ensure internal customer satisfaction.
- You will also develop operational plan for your department while adding contributions to the plan of the larger unit.
As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Defining and improving Sourcing strategies at business or plant level. May also include management of regional & business teams.
- Developing regular redesigns of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs.
- Elaborating process improvement targets while taking into consideration broader functional context.
- Communicating effectively with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.
- Providing services as the go-to service unit to the functional area or directly to the business.
- Manage, train, develop Sourcing team members across West Africa, including coaching and driving compliance to certification initiatives.
- Partner with sourcing quality to drive supplier quality, compliance and risk mitigation, including execution of regional Supplier Social Responsibility Program (SSRP), utilization of key Sourcing tools (iSupplier, e-invoice, etc.).
- Support supplier selection, rationalization and drive improved supplier performance.
- Assess supplier’s capabilities and capacity to support growth, and drive Supplier Performance scorecard reviews for key strategic suppliers.
- Handling any related analysis and interpretations. Procedures don't cover all the exceptions. Approaches for exceptions have to be developed.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- Have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Sourcing Management/Procurement/Supply chain management.
- Demonstrate high attention to details with ability to be rigorously analytical and have a well-developed commercial acumen.
- Show excellent negotiating and persuasive skills, both in one-on-one and group situations.
