Job Description



Quality Control



  • Supporting quality control processes and providing GMP expertise to ensure compliance to GMP and food/feed safety standards

  • responsible for quality standards throughout the production process including sampling of raw materials and finished products, line start up checks and in process checks, calibration of equipment, swabbing of equipment and facilities

  • Ensuring all products are produced to the highest standard and in accordance with standard operating procedures.

  • Leading the site GMP Quality Risk Management process, including risk register and risk assessments

  • Reviewing of manufacturing records for batch release

  • Supporting all QMS processes such as investigation of non-conformances, CAPA and change control

  • Performing Annual Product Quality Reviews and Leading the site HACCP programme

  • Writing and reviewing GMP Quality documents as required

  • Identifying and implementing improvements to QA processes and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

  • Supporting the site audit programme, including conducting audits, supporting and hosting regulatory audits

  • Conducting training and coaching on QA processes and concepts both departmentally and site wide


Health and Safety Management



  • Co-ordinating the deployment of ADM’s safety, health and environmental strategy across the locations with the aim of zero injuries or incidents.

  • You will work closely with location management ensuring continued improvement & development with the implementation of EHS training programs, policies and procedures that drive a behavioral based safety culture and support ADM’s strategy.

  • Providing guidance to managers and supervisors so they can maintain a safe workplace.

  • Instilling a sincere safety attitude by action, example, and training.

  • Providing advice and support to ensure the facilities maintain compliance to the ISO 14001:2015 certified Environmental Management System.

  • Making certain that all incidents are properly investigated.

  • Maintaining the EHS Action and Monitoring plan for the facility.

  • Developing and maintaining Site EHS Program and goals based on local regulatory requirements and the ADM Environmental, Health and Safety Standards.

  • Maintain liaison with legal and government agencies regarding Environmental, Health and Safety issues.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all local Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and maintains legal compliance management system


Skills Abilities



  • Relevant knowledge of production techniques & planning

  • Knowledge of company’s products and tools

  • Knowledge of company’s production procedures & policies


Education & Experience



  • A science degree or equivalent qualification

  • Previous experience in a Quality assurance role within a GMP regulated environment

  • Experience in food manufacturing, or continuous process industries

  • Understanding of quality risk management desirable


Project Management Experience Preferred



  • Knowledge of H&S, process safety and engineering processes

  • Food safety and Quality understanding, with Haccp level 3 or higher
