Salary: 250,000 – 300,000


Responsibilities



  • Develop business plans and sales strategy for the territory that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

  • Responsible for the performance, coaching, discipline, reward, and development of the Medical Sales Representatives in your territory.

  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by the team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.

  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.

  • Assists Medical Sales Representatives in preparation of sales/clinical presentations.

  • Keeping up to date with Company products and competitors

  • Dealing with some major customer accounts.

  • Facilitating businesses within the pharmaceutical Industry in Nigeria   

  • Participation in advocacy, public corporate responsibility programs and maintaining a cordial relationship with stakeholders in our business.

  • Promoting Institutional sales and undertaking marketing tours.

  • Provides timely feedback to direct line manager regarding performance.

  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and activity reports submitted by Medical Sales Representatives. 

  • Allocating territories to Medical Sales Representatives.


Requirements



  • B.Sc. Pharm

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in sales in the role of a manager in the south western territory

  • Candidate must be based in Ibadan or willing to relocate

  • Firm grasp of pharmaceutical wholesales across all sales & distribution channels (Open Market wholesalers, Retail, Patent medicine vendors, private & government institutions)

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
