Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance and repair of the hospitals physical plant and equipment

  • Ensure the hospital complies with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements including state and federal agencies

  • Manage the staff responsible for maintenance, repair, and renovation, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance

  • Develop and manage the departments budget, including capital expenditures, and prepare reports on facility operations and maintenance costs

  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and other projects

  • Plan and coordinate the installation, relocation, and disposal of equipment and furniture

  • Collaborate with hospital administration and other departments to identify and prioritize facility improvement projects


Requirements



  • Minimum BSC/HND certificate

  • 10 years of experience in healthcare facility maintenance

  • Basic IT understanding is a plus
