Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other relevant applications as well as other hosted Email services for our sister companies.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operation of IT services.
- Administer and support the Odoo ERP system, ensuring its optimal performance and providing end-user support.
- Oversee the active directory and file servers, managing user accounts, permissions, and file sharing.
- Maintain and troubleshoot networking devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Support and manage computing devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify IT requirements, develop solutions, and implement new technologies.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular backups, and implement disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide technical support to employees who are on site or remote by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems promptly.
- Provide support on Company Website and Social media platforms where required.
- Train and educate employees on IT best practices, security protocols, and the effective use of technology.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements to our IT infrastructure.
- Other developing IT related needs.
Qualifications / Skills Required
- B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with minimum of 5 years experience in an IT performance analysis and end-user support role.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 suite administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Great experience with Odoo or other ERP system administration and support.
- Proficiency in managing active directory, servers, networking and computing devices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a great attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Up-to-date knowledge of IT trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and manage and keep confidential information.
- Certifications in two or more of the following will be an added advantage:
- MCSA
- CCNA
- ITIL
- CompTIA A+
- Network +
